Hollyland Mars 400S SDI/HDMI Wireless Video Transmission System

The Mars 400S from Hollyland is an entry-level 1080p60 transmitter/receiver system featuring a 400′ line-of-sight transmission range. In a compact design, the transmitter and receiver each have an SDI and HDMI connection. The choice between the two connection types expands your compatibility options and also lets you grow in case currently you only need one.

Additionally, an optional second receiver can be linked up to the transmitter to accept the signal at the same time. The transmitter is also capable of sending the signal over built-in Wi-Fi to up to four mobile devices, whether it is also sending to a receiver at the time or not. This will allow different people/departments on the set to view the image being captured. The image is sent to the HollyView app, which is compatible with iOS and Android.

Both the transmitter and receiver have a built-in L-series battery plate and also support DC power. Batteries are sold separately. One power adapter is included to get you started on the receiver end. Both units also have an OLED display that confirms the resolution, transmission channel, signal strength, and other details. The display also shows a low battery warning when there are about 30 minutes of runtime left.

One of the features of the Mars 400 system is a channel scan function. Via the OLED display, you can see the status of each selectable transmission channel in the environment you’re in. This feature lets you know which channels are good and which have interference. Another feature is scene mode selection, which allows you to select from three different scene modes as best suits your environment. The three modes let you prioritize between video quality, low latency, or a balance between the two.

The transmitter and receiver are each approximately 4.5 x 2.5″ and have a robust yet lightweight metal housing.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Any and all individuals or entities (hereinafter referred to as “Renter) that rent motion picture equipment and accessories or services from Silver Screen Cinema Studios (“SSCS”) agree upon the terms and conditions herein provided.

1. Title to said equipment shall remain with SSCS. Renter has the opportunity to examine said equipment prior to removing the equipment from SSCS facilities and agrees that the same equipment carried is the correct equipment ordered by Renter and is in good order, condition and repair. Renter agrees to return said equipment to SSCS on the scheduled return date by 7:00pm or before, in the same good order, condition and repair. As used herein the rental day shall commence on the day the equipment is delivered to or picked up by Renter and shall continue until said equipment is returned (the entire time the equipment is out of the possession of SSCS). Renter agrees to pay one (1) additional rental day if said equipment is not returned by date specified on rental invoice.

2. Rental of 4-Ton Movie Rental Package needs to be completed one (1) week before rental equipment is needed at set. Travel is free within the Studios’ Zone*. 3. 8. Renter agrees to pay SSCS in full for the equipment being rented and before the equipment is to be picked up. Equipment will not be released to Renter until payment is made in full for the amount quoted.

9. Time is of the essence of this agreement. If Renter fails to return said equipment when due, SSCS may charge the credit card on file for the past due days beyond the return date at regular day rates for all equipment still in Renter’s possession. SSCS may declare Renter in default and shall have the right to repossess said equipment from Renter and recover all damages, accrued rental costs and reasonable attorney’s fees. Renter hereby waives any claim for loss or damage resulting from said repossession.

10. If within 48 hours after the return of said equipment SSCS shall discover that the same has been damaged while rented under this agreement, SSCS shall notify Renter of the description of such damage and the amount required to repair the same and the Renter agrees to have card left on file charged for the same on demand.

11. In the event that the Renter is in default under this rental agreement and an action is commenced to enforce any right there under, the prevailing party in such action may recover from the other, in addition to all other relief, reasonable attorney’s fees incurred in said action or proceedings.

12. In the event that Renter from time to time rents other equipment from SSCS the terms and conditions of this rental agreement shall apply to such other rentals.
